What's the oddest CD in your collection?

Right now I'm listening to 16 classic Beatles tunes being played on the harp, cello and oboe.

I love that musical, but I would have preferred the Broadway cast recording. I had the Broadway recording of Evita playing yesterday but it was getting me too fired up. I found myself plotting to overthrow the branch managers.

I have the movie soundtrack to Rent, but I really like the music, so I don't really think its all that odd.

I have an odd CD collection. From Garbage to Elvis to ELO to Bob Seger. I just like what I like. I also have the Broadway musical Lion King and CDs from when my son was in choir in high school. I listen to those when I start missing him badly.

That's funny that you mention that because that CD is my answer to the question (except mine is the movie soundtrack)...I won it with a bunch of things from some radio station - and I think it's still in the plastic.

Jingle Cats. It was a gag gift. I got the dog owner that recording of the dogs barking Jingle Bells, so she one-upped me with an entire CD of Christmas Carols meowed by cats! Cute for one song, then it gets REAL annoying. And I 'm a cat lover!

If it's the original Broadway cast that's a good CD. It has Mandy Patinkin and Patti Lupone as Che Guavera and Eva Peron.

Whoops, just saw you said movie soundtrack. Antonio Banderas and Madonna. Yeah, not the same.

I am all over the place when it comes to music. I love Disney, I have a bunch of CD's and soundtracks. I also love the Resevoir Dogs soundtrack, great old songs on that one. I like to keep my office door closed at work so I don't freak people out with my musical choices.

Beatallica. They are a tribute band that performs Beatles songs as if Metallica would do them. They intertwine Metallica and Beatles music and it actually works, if you like that sorta thing . Songs like "A Garage Dayz Nite" "The Thing That Should Not Let it Be" and "Hey Dude" are some examples.

Check them out at www.beatallica.org

The studio tracks sound much better than the live recordings. Just be warned, the songs contain some strong language (they are imitating Metallica after all).

It would have to be a toss up between ABBA Gold and Cat Stevens Greatest Hits.

If you like them, you might try Keane, the Fray, or Coldplay...

No need for the attitude.
There are similarities. Not as much as the first two I mentioned, but similarities none the less.
