November 7, 2006 the midterm elections come to an end...
November 8, 2006 the 2008 Presidential election begins...

Who do you think will be the candidates headlining the tickets in 2008? If you want to go for the full ticket be my guest.

The last month ruined my prediction. I picked Senator George Allen for the GOP, and Governor Mark Warner for the Democrats.

Now, I'm not so sure of the GOP, but I'm thinking it is Senator Barack Obama for the Dems.

GO AWAY. At least give us a week or so of peace and quiet.

So, what do you think of the new Elmo Doll?

Lack of experience and youthfulness most likely will keep Obama out of 2008, maybe in 2016.

My daughter has the old Epileptic Elmo… oops I mean tickle me Elmo. She lays him down on the ground and jumps on him and it looks like he’s having seizures.

So Cal
I predict that much mud will be slung.

I predict that people will accuse each other of voting along party lines while hoping their party makes the white house and is the majority in the House and Senate.

I predict that the parties will accuse each other of being given more radio and TV airtime than their party received.

I predict that people will accuse each other of always thinking they are right, even though deep down everyone thinks their opinions are right, otherwise they would not have an opinion.

"I predict" is a cool song by the "Sparks."

Lastly, I predict that, although my post has no leanings to either side of the political spectrum, I will be flamed and/or this thread will turn into the typical partisan circus all political threads become.

For the record, I hope I am wrong on all but one count (The Sparks). But let's be realistic...

Geeze...somehow I think this thread would've been better if it stuck to politics...as opposed to me "whacking" myself in the presence of the new Elmo doll...GEEEEEZE! lol...

I recommend reading Obama's new book...he might be young and lacking in some experience...but his character and personal beliefs in the American dream might just make up for that....

I agree with Ron. The more these people become entrenched, the worse off we are. I am so sick of the crap being flung by both sides. Time for some fresh ideas/people.

I know, Ron. God forbid Democrats should support someone with charisma or enthusiasm. I'm sure you remember when Howard Dean was ditched in favor of John Kerry.
