We are getting ready to order new envelopes to be used to mail statements to customers. Our deposit operations department and trust department use the same size envelopes to mail their statements. Should the trust statement be mailed in an envelope that has Member FDIC after the Bank name?

Thanks

Bank supplies are exempt from the "Member FDIC" requirements [see 328.3(c) here. You could have it on the envelope, but some things should not go with the "member FDIC" statement (non-deposit investment products, insurance, etc.). Therefore, I recommend not including it on envelopes and other supplies.

Thanks David. I found the exemption after I had posted and I also knew that most banks put the official statement on their envelopes.
