Does anyone know where I can find a "Director's Guide to Privacy". I haven't been able to locate training material specific to directors.

Have you tried the ABA. They have a pretty good "privacy toolbox" that can be used for your purpose.

American Bank Systems also offers a product that contains training information for all areas of the bank, from customer contact employees to directors. It's part of their 12 step program for privacy compliance. Itt has sample board resolutions, checklists, things like that. I can't remember what we paid for it and I don't see a price listed here. Sorry. 12 Steps

FDIC's recent publication on privacy is excellent. It is in plain, clear language and thus useful for training as well as self-guidance. It is something that you could use in briefing the board and training staff.

I assume Lucy means the Privacy Rule Handbook.
