My search skills are failing me. I thought CA enacted a law that prohibits the listing of a person's marital status in the address of mail sent to them. I can't find the statute. Anyone know the cite?

Thanks!

Steve -
Would you be referring to adverse action notices sent to applicants where the declination is based on information obtained in their credit bureau report???

No, I thought this came about because title companies were sending things out with addresses like "John Doe, a single man" which was taken from the vesting on deeds etc.
Maybe it was one of those laws that was introduced and then died.
