I didn't see if anyone posted this yet, but Jimmie Johnson won the Nextel Cup Championship over the weekend... All I have to say is, IT'S ABOUT TIME!

I don't know that I was happy, but it was definately deserved. Began to wonder if he'd be #2 forever.

I have nothing but respect for Jimmie Johnson. He's a true racer and a true sportsman. Nothing wrong with him in my book.

I'd cheer him on every week, but I'd be labled a front-runner.

My man was Rusty Wallace, and since he retired I feel like I've got no run to cheer on (except maybe his kid Steve in the Busch Series).

I do cheer on Robby Gordon (who won the Baja 1000 this past week) and Juan Pablo Montoya though...

Juan Pablo Montoya had quite a spectacular crash in his very first Nextel Cup race yesterday.

Oh no doubt! He did get to visit the big yellow trailer after the race for that one.

Any word on what happened to Ryan? Watching the race yesterday, you could tell it was intentional....
