My bank is considering offering HSA's. Can a money market or statement savings account be used as a HSA? If so, would the account still be limited as to number of 3rd party transactions?
I'm thinking ahead to disclosures and what changes may be needed.

Yes - you can place them into any account type that you wish. Savings and MMDA will still have the transaction limitations.
