You couldn't PAY me to go shopping today!

Two years ago I worked in a Best Buy that had just opened the week before Thanksgiving. So if it wasn't crazy enough already, try working 11 hours on Black Friday... The line waiting to check out was wrapped around the whole store... I thank god that I don't work in retail anymore.

I love working today! Half the staff is gone, business is very slow AND it is casual Friday. Easiest workday of the year.

Yes Ms. B., you couldn't pay me enough to go near the mall today. I am dreading just going to the grocery over lunch!

BankerJen is in. Easy day today....putting up christmas decorations.

Present and accounted for on this lovely "day after Thanksgiving" and for our bank it is a LOOOOOOONG day cause it's the Christmas Walk in town tonight so we are open this evening also. No banking done but giving out warm cider, cookies and little teddy bears for any and all kids 12 and under - at least until the supply runs out. I swear they bus them in from all over the area

I'm here too but not for long. I think we are closing at noon- lack of interest, I mean, lack of customer traffic and employees.

I'm here, and so is all of my staff except for one person. This is the day that I hope they want a vacation day.

Didn't see any of the rest of senior management this morning, so I might technically be in charge. If so, we're outta here early, baby. Got books at home to read, and still getting over food poisoning (yeah, got it the day before Thanksgiving; how dumb am I?).

Wacokid on the job. What a nice bank, its gonna buy deli sandwiches and pizza so we can all take turns eating and watching the TU/Aggie football game on the BIG screen in the employees meeting room. I'll be spending most of my time in there "working", sorta?

I'm here also. Every year I kick myself for not taking this day off, but I am taking Monday off. I'm expecting pups this weekend!!!

I'm here...I don't want to be...I am getting NOTHING done. Just waiting until 5 so we can go get ready for our little towns 'Holiday Parade' that my son and I are in. We'll be riding on a float...with a very old sleigh on it, actually we'll be in the sleigh. I am so excited. He will have so much fun!!
