Those pepperment nougats with the tree in the center. Yummy. Got a bowl of them on my desk right now. My co workers seem to be dropping by to see me a lot more than usual.

That's the candy. There is an actual 'buckeye' tree. This tree drops nuts, or buckeyes, that are round and dark brown with a light brown 'dot'. This is what the candy also resembles. The peanut butter center is not quite all of the way dipped in chocolate.

Oh, yes. My mom used to carry one for luck. Aren't they poisonous if ingested?

Oh, yes. My mom used to carry one for luck. Aren't they poisonous if ingested? Yes, they are poisonous (and according to my sister, an OSU grad) that makes the Buckeye the deadliest mascot in football. What happens if a Wolverine eats a Buckeye? They die! Etc.

Wouldn't they both die? So technically they are equally as deadly! Just messing with you!

My college mascot was a Polar Bear so I don't have to make up lethal qualities.

Homemade sugar cookies with frosting - christmas tree shapes, bells, etc. The fancier the decorating the better. Not mine, I either make the too thick or too thin Also, candy canes but I'm a traditionalist - give me the red ones only
