Big Brother knows and that's a...
I am in the process of filing a SAR on a customer, but we don't have DL information! Don't ask me how we didn't get that, because I don't know...but it was before 2003.

Anyway, do I need to have the DL info for the SAR?

Complete all the information that you have. If you are missing information, then leave it blank. I would, however, make an attempt to get it if possible. Have the branch manager place a message on the account to get missing info. Simply tell the customer that the information was not obtained at account opening an you are trying to update records.

I agree with big-dog except that I wouldn't leave it blank. I would enter "unknown" so that they know you didn't overlook that part of the SAR and mistakenly leave it blank.

Kelsey is correct, do not leave anything blank. All fields need to be filled in and unknown is ok.
