Issue. We provide customer payroll services through our website. Customer signs on, updates their payroll information, and submits it for processing. We format the information into a NACHA format and transmit to FED. If our Internet is down, how can we accommodate this process for payroll customers? They are unable to access the files, since they are built on our website, and these customers don’t have any onsite software to put information into an ACH NACHA format even if they could recreate it and transmit directly to us through a modem. Does anyone know of a software product that could be used in a contingency type situation?

Do you control the software that your customers access, or are you using a vendor for this service?

Vendor. The one software package we have allows us to "send a file", which is great. The problem is that this software isn't compatable with anything above Windows 98.

I may be able to help you, but would prefer to discuss particulars offline. Please drop me an email if you'd like to explore this further.
