Can someone type that into the web browser and tell me where it sends them? My server is blocking me from seeing it and I need to knwo for a SAR....yeah, one of those stupid Nigerian letters

Let me make sure I understand - your system's security measures are preventing you from going to a foreign site, so you want us to go to it so we can tell you what it is?

Dip, as a single word it doesn't go anywhere. However, it directs you to the website for the UK.

It's not actually a site. It's the tail end of a virtual email address available to subscribers with an ISP account on Orange (a phone/broadband provider in the EU.)

Typically it would look like firstname@lastname.orangehome.co.uk

It seems to get used a lot for British Lottery scams.

barbarian-- it was in a format like you say for the person's email address...i was just tryign to see if i could get any additional info for the SAR.

You can do a whois search for uk domains at
http://www.nic.uk/
The whois lookup is in the upper right hand corner.
It returns some infomation.
