I think I gave my boyfriend the coolest gift....He LOVES his dog. He had mentioned wanting someone to draw a picture or take a picture of her but she wouldnt hold still. So back in October I emailed a picture of her to my friends son, an Art major, and asked if he'd draw her. He did it in charcoal and it turned out to be 11x14 or a little bigger. I had it framed and matted and had a little plaque with her name engraved and put on the matting. It turned out awesome. He had nothing on his walls, now he had a giant picture of her hanging on them so I think he liked it.
He gave me an iPod, and my parents gave me a new Kate Spade purse and wallet.

Congrats hmdagal, wedding date yet????? As for my presents, nothing nearly as exicting as that but my oldest son and wife gave me a tie dyed Haight/Ashbury shirt from his neighborghood in San Fran, now I look "really groovy" Youngest son and wife gave me an awsome book on the various breast cancer walks and pink chicklets!!! Hubbie gave me a statue in memory of our Buddy puppy (funny, I gave him a sweatshirt with Buddy's picture on it - great minds think alike?)

Thanks everyone. I'm a little old to be going through this for the first time, but happy about it. My guess is that it's round, made of gold or platinum, and has a diamond. Like he said - gold - a round diamond - and some diamond chips. We're working on a date.

hmdagal- that's awesome! I guess the guy I've been dating is now officially a "boyfriend." He gave me emerald earrings for xmas. I also got XM radio, an iPod and some warm clothes. (I refuse to accept that I need winter clothing so unless I receive it for a gift I'd probably freeze to death.) One of my best gifts was a call from my best friend- I hadn't heard from him for about 6 mos.
