As some of you know, I'm a die hard Aggie. We are playing Cal-Berkeley in the Holiday Bowl. I thought this link was funny and interesting: http://www.signonsandiego.com/sports/college_football/20061224-9999-1s24holiday.html I'm actually a mix between god fearing redneck and hippie. That said, I can't wait to saddle up and whoop some hippie ass, LOL. My prediction: Texas A&M 34 Cal 21 Here's a few of my other picks: BCS Championship: Florida 38 Ohio State 31 Cotton: Auburn 28 Nebraska 17 Outback: Tenn 35 Penn State 24 Capital One: Arkansas 27 Wisconsin 14 Rose Bowl: USC 41 Michigan 24 Fiesta: Oklahoma 52 Boise State 21 Orange: Louisville 37 Wake Forest 21 Sugar: LSU 45 Notre Dame 24

Grrr... I love being a Cowboys fan... How else can someone know that you have a good team, but the owner is throwing a monkey wrench in the whole shebang.
In truth, our Boys didn't show up again, the one biggest problem we have had for several years. One game they will look like they can beat anybody, the next game they look like they are starting their first game...
Good win Ron, congrats to the Eagles.

TB, how 'bout them Cowboys? I'm bout to stick my foot in t.o.'s ass if he doesn't straighten up. He needs to write another book, Little T learns to catch or Little T learns to not give up on a pass. He could have helped avoid an interception if he wasn't so damn lazy.

I give yall all the credit there Ronnie...
But the Cowboys sure didn't put up much of a fight...
So now it looks like three teams out of the NFC East could make the playoffs, how crazy is that?

as an iggs fan i LOVE how everybody is talking about how dallas lost the game rather than giving credit to iggs for beating that @$$. it's so nice to not have any pressure. I'll give the Eagles credit on a nice season after DM went down. However, we all know the Cowboys didn't play that well. Parcells knows the Cowboys suck at home so we are trying to lose all our remaining games so we don't have home field advantage. He's such a genius!

My prediction: Texas A&M 34 Cal 21
Here's a few of my other picks:
BCS Championship: Florida 38 Ohio State 31
Cotton: Auburn 28 Nebraska 17
Outback: Tenn 35 Penn State 24
Capital One: Arkansas 27 Wisconsin 14
Rose Bowl: USC 41 Michigan 24
Fiesta: Oklahoma 52 Boise State 21
Orange: Louisville 37 Wake Forest 21
Sugar: LSU 45 Notre Dame 24
TB.....Do you have a Southern bias? I'm noticing that in North-South matchups you favor the Southern school every time.

That's cause the North are a bunch of sissy boys. So, it was a bunch of sissies that whipped the Longhorns in Austin this season? What does that make Texas? Go Buckeyes! OH-IO!

I wonder how many Ohio ST players are from south of the Mason-Dixon. Just cause you woo all our good southern ball players away with your fast women and greased palms doesn't make you a great team. The proof is in the history. Only 1 Northern team has played for a National title since 2000. Granted they won, but they were cheating. Now they go back, with a QB who cheated. Must be a huge source of pride for those in Ohio. Of course with the Browns and Bungles I guess you have to pull for someone. Here's a link to the roster: http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/teams/oob/rosterA grand total of 11 southern players, although the Florida players don't count, IMO, as Florida is southern in geography only. Most all of the starters are from Ohio. Troy Smith, admittedly, committed a minor infraction for which he served a suspension. As for your obvious crack on Clarett and the 2003 National Championship, what evidence do you have that Clarett was ineligible at the time? I mean, do you have some Earth-shattering evidence that the NCAA hasn't already reviewed? As for the "fast women and greased palms" comment, you must be confusing Ohio State with Colorado. Get it right, please.

Between Texas, Florida, & California (who I picked over Michigan), they produce the vast majority of NFL players. I think Ohio State is a great team but look they beat Texas whose QB had played one freakin game. I expect Ohio-Florida to be a good game but Florida played great teams week in week out.

Interesting rankings found on ESPN today. Clearly 5 of the top 10 are north of the Mason-Dixon. Florida and California, IMO, cannot be considered truly southern states. Football rankings by state

Well, looks like I'm eating crow. I was on the Franchione bandwagon for about 1 month but I'm back off and probably won't climb back on.
