This was the topic on my morning local news. So, lets hear what you guys think.

In my younger days 800 mg of ibuprofin and two pepto tablets before bed and a coke when I got up was all it took to prevent hangovers.

Now (probably because I rarely drink more than 1 or 2 in an evening) if I have too many the ONLY fix is a quiet day in bed. I really didnt think 33 was that old...

My Russian in-laws swear by pickle juice, but I've found pedialite to be the best remedy. It's got electrolytes and such and works pretty well

A bloody mary is my morning mate! Extra spicy and moderately strong (I usually go about half and half with Clamato and vodka).

I love the Alka-Seltzer Morning Relief. It works like a charm every time.

However the Clamato Bloody Mary works most of the time too.

The first time you wake up to go bathroom, pop two Excederin Migrane, and lay back down...in an hour or two you will be ready to go like youe were 22 again!

You should take a multivitamin before you drink and the next day. Also, drink a lot of water. 8 ounces of beer robs your body of 32 ounces of water.

Stay drunk.

Eat a piece of bread, take 2 Advil and drink a glass of water before bed. Works for me!!!

.25 cc Banamine in a shot glass full of orange juice. Works for migraines, too.

I have to say, the one thing no one has said, and I figured would be one of the first things said "Don't get drunk".

pop some advils...lay in bed and moan for a few hours...gag on some water...moan some more...gag on some soda...moan...curl up in a little ball and moan...

in about 5 hours you'll be feeling ok enough to take a shower and then go get a smoothie...in about another hour you'll be all better

The only other thing that works for me that hasn't been mentioned is Benadryl for nausea. It really works! Whenever I feel sick to my stomach I pop 2 Benadryl and it helps. I actually had to do this Monday too!

Seriously Becca? I thought I would have heard about that by now. I keep a bottle in the fridge at all times.

what is Benamine?? I get migraines alot.

for every drink you take, drink a glass of water in between. prior to bed, take two aspirins and drink a 20 ounce gatorade. you will never have a hangover. but this is prevention...

to cure...something greasy for breakfast (greasy burger, sausage biscuit, etc), something with lots of caffeine (espresso), ibuprofen or aspirin. If you have access to an oxygen tank, pure oxygen does wonders. exercise is also good, but very painful...

It's an anti-inflamatory drug...I use it for horses when they colic or tie up (severe muscle cramps). Some people say it has sedative and/or muscle relaxing tendencies...

Oh so you might get it at a feed store?? Or do you need a prescription??

It's only available from a vet. My daughters gelding gets incredibly sore after being ran on hard ground, so we keep a bottle on hand for him. My old barrel horse use to colic if the wind changed directions too quickly. I got use to keeping it on hand a long time ago but have never heard of using it for my migraines (or a hangover). My dad's a vet and sister is a pharmacist...I really thought they might have shared that ifnormation if it was a good idea.

So you can really use that or not?
