For deleted posts, I would appreciate if the moderator could PM the poster and tell them what has been deleted and why. I personally have had only two posts deleted that I know of(not including those included in entire deleted threads). In the first case, Andy Z PM'd me and gave me an explanation, and so I never again posted on that subject matter. The second case was just since the surge/escalation in moderators -- I just happened to notice it was gone when I went back to the thread.
If the real goal is to bring up the standards of the cooler, it would be more helpful to know what those standards are and when we are violating them, not having posts just disappear under cover of night.
Also, I hope these standards reflect those of BOL Management, and are not just knee-jerk reaction to a small group of frustrated complainers. I think in addition to moderating the posts, the moderators should track posters who complain far in excess of others. There may be a few people who are just too sensitive, and it may be better if they just be advised to stay away if it upsets them so much.

Interesting observation as I'm getting ready to come back.
Please notice that two Queens have made it to moderator status and that all the listed moderators are democrats!
I do wonder, how can banking be so conservative oriented and this site be so liberal - is it because an attorney actually runs this site? Not sure what significance the letters in the screen names have... and all 9 of them are democrats? Are you sure about that? Cuz I'm nearly sure you're wrong.

Well there's no Xs in any of their names -- that's a good sign. But, that's now - I could be added to the list - I would only eliminate the stupid posts or 90% of the posts in the cooler, whichever is greater. By the way, ComplyGuy - it's not what you know - it's what I tell you! Live it!

Registered Republican for 39 years, how about you? You're more like a RINO. Man, the qualification for moderator have gone to hell in Devil Queen’s handbasket, but the interesting part is that it's all low-level bankers with plenty of time on their hands during the business day - now, let's think about that - the moderator group has time to post to the cooler and patrol the cooler - during the business day - I say fire all of them and let them volunteer here full-time for free. On the other hand, free labor is a good thing, especially as all the posters are on the paying end.
