My Mom passed away on her way home today, luckily she went into the ditch and did not hit anyone else. Please keep our family in your prayers this week. My daughter is taking it hard, especially since her birthday is tomorrow. Thank you.

I'm so sorry to hear about your father. Know that you and your family are in my prayers also. The lose of a parent, no matter how old we are or they are, is a difficult passage of life. I pray that both you and Kiwi can find some comfort in the loving memories of your parents. I've lost both of my parents but have such wonderful memories and I am who I am today in a great part because of them!

Thanks everyone. It has been a really hard week. We tried to clean out her apartment, but too much friction between the older siblings and I got tired of trying to ease it so I ended up leaving with just a few boxes of my memories and my one sister ended up packing the whole place for herself. Oh well, that is how it goes sometimes, I hope she keeps everything and takes care of it but I am sure she won't.

I have to share this...my Mom was driving on the interstate when she had a heart attack caused by a stomach aneurism and ended up crossing the opposite lanes of traffic. She thankfully did not hit anyone else and missed a post by inches. A trucker was following behind her and he pulled over and dialed 911 and gave her CPR. How nice is that! We were wondering how we would be able to thank him. When we received the information from the funeral home yesterday he had signed the online guestbook! Please pray for him as well because I am sure this was tramatic for him too. Mom was the last of her generation for both my Mother and Father's side. I just wished I could have talked to her one more time.

Oh Kiwi. I have tears as I'm reading this. I'm so very sorry you're going through this. That is very touching about the trucker. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

My dads good friend killed himself on Monday, and luckily left a note on the door that said "do not come in, call the police." which was a nice warning but a sad loss. Then today, I find out that my uncle has passed from lung cancer. All I can say is that these people are in better places now. . . and they are no longer suffering
