Can anyone tell me where I can find a copy of a good Whistleblower Policy?

I am looking for one myself.

I posted a similar request a few weeks ago, but haven't received many responses, yet. Some organizations have their policies on their websites...I was hoping to find something bank-specific, but may end up modeling ours after some of these that I've seen on the Internet.

Has a deadline been set for a whistleblower program? I can't locate any effective dates.

The SEC has a proposed rule stating that the audit committee must establish procedures for handling complaints regarding accounting practices. The rule (which also includes other audit committee standards as well) must be effective by April 26, 2003 and new requirements operative by the national security exchanges and associations no later than the 1st anniversary of the final rule in the Federal Register.

I have a whistle blower policy and procedures that I have prepared for my bank. However, our stock is not publicly traded and therefore we do not have SEC worries. I would share my whistle blower policy with you if you want to look at it. Let me know and I can e-mail the policy and procedures to you.
