This is news to me. CA Probate Code 2892 requires financial institutions to submit an affidavit to the "named court" when the FI opens or changes an account pursuant to letters of guardianship or conservatorship of an estate. Do other CA bankers follow this portion of the Code? I didn't see it mentioned in BCG #2 "New Accounts".

Also, what type of signature card do you use for fiduciary accounts? Bankers Systems doesn't have one available.

Thanks KK. I had to borrow a current SPM #2; unfortunately this bank is not a member. Thanks so much for the clarification. Does your institution use a special signature card for fiduciary accounts? If so, who is your supplier? Thanks again!

CA Banker,

We don't use a special sig card. The account is coded with the appropriate type.
