Cedar Rapids, IA,
I have a couple of items I'd like some feedback on with regards to how long we need to keep certain items. They include:

fed line book - the printed daily records of the transactions over the fed wire. (We have disk backup of the information.)
wire transfer forms - the forms the customer signs authorizing us to perform the wire transfer (I'm guessing 5 years for BSA purposes.)

Thanks!

I am of the understanding that if the records can be reproduced or accessed as called for you are ok and that paper copies of information that is stored on film, tape, etc. is not required to be kept as long as you can retreive the information if the need arises. As for the wire documents, I would agree that five years for BSA purposes should be sufficient.
