I couldnt sit and watch it without interruptions last night so it was difficult to follow exactly what was happening. Jack's dad was a shocker though. That's some family Jack's got.

So, Bauer Sr. has been the mastermind behind last season's plot to hijack the Logan Presidency and foment war to seize the valuable oil resources of "Central Asia"? There is some speculation that the White Person Cabal of Non-Muslim Terrorists was actually also behind Marwan's plots of Day 4 when Air Force 1 was shot down and Pres. What's-His-Face was permanently incapacitated, thereby elevating the malleable Logan to power.

At any rate, this show is useless until they bring back Aaron! I thought he'd turn out to be the mysterious engineer needed by the bad guys, but once Morris walked out the door at the 55-minute mark, I realized it was him instead.

The Graem torture scene was creepily intense. And so was his termination by his own father. Which only continues the trend that every single person with any sort of rank or authority or emotional leverage over Jack has died or turned out to be evil, except for Buchanan and Audrey.

Will any nukes be set off on tonight's special 2-hour showing of "24"? Looks like Jack Bauer will be taking on his daddy the rest of the "24" hour day in an effort to stop the other nukes.

I wonder how Audrey will be involved this year?

Did her dad die or has he just not been brought back? I remember he drove his car off a cliff to avoid surveillance but can't remember if he lived or not.

Those two hours last night were great.

But I have one point - if I was being tortured, and I heard the guy that was keeping me say "they must be close, now it is just a matter of time", I'd let them torture me. Either kill me now, and I don't help, or torture me and run out of time. Just my opinion. (the drill in the back must have hurt something bad!)

Jack vs his dad makes it an interesting story line.... and I was a big fan of Milo - way to drive that van!

I was hoping that Morris would be able to do some sort of clever coding like, "Yeah, the bomb is armed--but secretly, minutes have been reset to hours". So if the baddies set the timer to 30 minutes, it would go off in 30 years.

Of course, that would only work with timed detonation, and not direct triggering by a suicide bomber or delivery by missile.

Speaking of Jack vs. his dad, I will never be able to watch "Babe" again without thinking about 24

Did anyone else notice that Milo took that van on a hell of a ride before crashing and yet when Jack came to, the van was right in front of him? Shouldn't Milo and the lady been a few blocks away from Jack and the house that exploded?

Oh well, that is TV.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I had my suspicions about Milo, but now he seems to be a good guy.

Clearly, Milo has watched The In-Laws and knows the advantages of going serpentine when under fire.

Well, what did everyone think of last night's show?

Jack's dad is one bad man.

What about the Presidential bombing that should take place next week? I thought Tom couldn't be trusted and was going to go along with the plan but didn't and then gets smacked up side the head.

It's above me right now....I don't know how Jack is gonna catch his evil dad and Fayed from setting off the other nukes. What's with the bearded former Prez? Also, I do foresee romance for Jack and its Graehm's wife, not Audrey....

Yeah, I would imagine Jack and her get together. I think it's his kid to begin with. I did read an interview with Audrey (I don't know her real name) where she said she could be back because "The Nine" got cancelled. We'll see.

So we see the former Prez under house arrest and being released to help Jack stop the terrorists. I still wonder where SS agent Aaron Pierce and the former first lady are.... I still don't like the actor playing the current president...HE cannot act!

Its still hard to figure out what's going on with Chloe and her ex-husband Morris....

Well the bomb went off last night at the press conference and the Prez is laying on the floor bleeding....will he survive, or pass on and the VP come into play? Will Tom survive?

Heh. I thought it was amusing the way that Prez Wayne kept referring to everyone by their full name, as if his dim-witted aides would not otherwise know to whom he was referring. "Do you know where Tom Lennox is? How about Reed Pollock? No? Could you please get Former CTU Agent Jonathon Bauer on the line, please?"

I'm new to the 24 club. I've been watching reruns on Saturday afternoon on Fox. The conflict revolves around a white powder virus. Is this from last year, or even earlier?

Wow, I just watched 24 that I had recorded. I thought it was a good episode as Jack took over the mobile controls of the plane carrying a nuke and landed it. H-m-m-. It is sitting there in a burning wreckage, is it gonna explode or what? Also, there is the possibility that Audrey is dead, killed in China looking for Jack when he was in prison.

It was a wild one, Wacokid. I guarantee Audrey is alive...i am waiting for the "twist" -every season starts with a particular problem, which at some point gets twisted into a larger unseen issue....It can't be a simple as stopping Fayed/Gredenko....perhaps the VP is into something-and Jacks dad is still out there somewhere, right?

I agree that Audrey is probably alive. And where is her dad, the Sec. of Def.????? (William Devane) Who do you think the inside traitor is at CTU?
