Big Brother knows and that's a...
I've searched high and low for an answer on this...nothing under my state law that I can find.

However...we have 3 lease security accounts and the owner of the accounts has passed away. The property was sold to a new owner. Is the best way to handle this to have the Exec. of the account close them out and have the new owner re-open?

Please help!

I would inform the Executor and let them handle it - the bank should take no action without proper authority.

How is that possible when the leasees actually own the money?
