I've taped the last 4 and haven't watched one yet...dopn't seem to have the time. But it is definitely the best thing on TV.

Yes, Deadwood - to me - seems like the real world back when Greed was the motivator and Gold brought all the folks running to the same place.

Is Glenn Close on the show this season? She is so classy.

Yes she is - as the new Captain. She pulls it off naturally and that is saying something as it's a motley crew of cops that she must deal with. It goes to show that if one has talent, male or female, the roles with come along even as the years go by.

She sure looks different now than in Fatal Attraction. And she is really good.

Not to get off topic (and I missed last nights show, waiting for the repeat) but Michael Chickliss has such a different role than The Commish. All around, it is a good show.

We have seen every show, every season. Really love it obviously but not too thrilled with the additional sex put into it. The old chief and the hooker, the car scene this week, I just don't think it is necessary. Otherwise I love the show and Chickliss is a great actor, I think pairing him up with Glen Close was a GREAT match for this show.

I agree that the sex part is getting a bit much...And someone needs to put a bullet in Shane!

The sex is a bit over the time, but there are also lessons to be noted this season. For example, the Glenn Close character is continually involved and very up front with praise and appraisals of performance. The praise part is new and the motley crew is taken back by it. Now, how often is praise used as a motivator in the banking world. If you have been praised for anything in the last few days - you are one lucky banker!

Way back when his first role was in a movie about John Belushi, I think it was called "wired." He was told if he did this and showed the bad side of show-biz, he would be blacklisted. And he was until he landed his role on the commish. And he is only 38, looks much older.

I can't wait until this show starts again....
