Remember the prime motivation for Perot was hatred for Bush senior for the perceived slight at his daughter's wedding, there is nothing similar for Bloomberg. When was the last time that happened? Teddy, Grant, FDR? $1 billion is only one year's salary for this guy, so it may not be out of the realm of possibility, especially if he has already commited that amount in a lock box to do this.
