I am performing a Reg CC audit and am asked the following:
Obtain copies of the documents associated with the Bank's Check 21 expedited recrediting process, including but not limited to the following:
a) Notice of valid claim and refund
b) Notice of provisional refund
c) Denial of claim; and
d) Reversal of refund
Are these separate documents or are they the same as all other customer dispute documents?

What kind of claim under Reg CC would these be?

This is when a customer may have suffered a loss relating to a substitute check that they received and was posted to their account.

At our bank, they are seperate documents. In the case where we gave provisional credit then denied a claim, 'c' and 'd' would be combined into one form.
