No high-fives? Parents and administrations these days just annoy the living pi$$ out of me! No touching? What about sports - are those still allowed? Oh, maybe they could still have dodge ball, at least you're only getting pelted in the face with a red rubber ball. Heaven forbid you get sucker punched for flinching! So your friends having a bad day, no hugging?
PITIFUL!!!

Given the obvious overcrowding of the school and the proximity to DC(gangs and not just political ones) I guess I can see this.

No school dances - that' got to be way out! Bloody knuckles should still be OK - that's not actually skin/skin touching.

high fiving could lead to groping in the corner, sox. jeez. think like a 7th grader!!! good point, mag. They should put blinders on the kids too so they can't look at each other. Better yet, everyone gets a bubble-no chance of contact then.

this is just an example of how "grey" the world is... What is "acceptable" for some is not acceptable for all... Instead of having to debate that point... Easier to ban it all... Are you supporting it Neo?

Neo - sorry RRSS. That makes no sense at all. If you step back and apply that statement to more than kids in school, hopefully you'll see that. If not, dude you really need some help.

I actually like where this is going...Maybe I can work from home instead of commuting. God knows I'd hate to have anyone touch me ever...

wonder if this "no touching" rule pertains to teachers/students, or just students/students...

I think that logic is flawed, I'm sorry.
Normal sane people can determine what is appropriate and what isn't, and can talk to one another if they need to confur. High-fiving is in no way shape or form the same as sexual assault. People as a whole make contact with one another, the point is to keep everyone informed and educated about what is acceptable and what isn't.
Seriously, we as a country are "PCing" our way out of everything!
