I was watching "Rescue Me" on Wednesday night and they made a reference to someone "Flying a freak flag". I simply burst out laughing!

It's much older than that . . . it's in the lyrics of "Almost Cut My Hair" by CSNY:

Almost cut my hair
It happened just the other day
It's gettin kinda long
I coulda said it wasn't in my way
But I didn't and I wonder why
I feel like letting my freak flag fly
Cause I feel like I owe it to someone

From the "Deja Vu" album - 1970

with referece to the use of "olla", this word may need to go in the same group that crosses the bright lines - just "thinking out load" but it is pretty disgusting

You know we love ya, girl...

The Word of the Day for June 29, 2007 is: pococurante
• \POH-koh-kyoo-RAN-tee\ • adjective:

indifferent, nonchalant

Example Sentence:
At the ball, the snobbish debutante offended many would-be suitors by responding to their greetings in a pococurante manner.
