But that is why Nigel gave them such good ratings! The music did not seamlessly "fit" the paso doble, but they kept their dance in the style of the paso doble. In spite of the music.

Is Cedric the untrained break dancing guy from Milwaukee, who they dissed on the fox trot with the Russian girl? I thought he pulled it off quite well, considering the dance is sooooooo different from his regular style.

Yep- that's him. My boy Dominic hasn't had any training either (the other breaker). I hope he keeps impressing!

Sorry they kept Cedric this time. He clearly let his partner down, and she went instead. Not fair! He is a break dancer, period. Not showing the verstility needed to compete.

It was hard to choose between the girls. I did not care for the first girl's solo (Sara?), but her partner dance was great. As for Faina, I also thought her partner dance was great; she was great in spite of Cedric. But, although I liked the solo, I guess it wasn't intricate enough for the judges. Too much ruffling the skirt instead of steppin.

Same thoughts on Faina. Same thoughts on sara (? here too!). I was so suprised they kept Cedic!! I truly hope that he just rocks the house next week regardless of what style he gets. He seems like such a nice guy - he def. thought he was the one leaving, his partner got the boot - I just kept thinking he must feel AWFUL!!! Hopefully that turns into a huge power performance next week!!

I think the first girl solo was Jessie. Then Shawna (?) then Faina. I am sure Cedric's new partner Shawna (?) is not happy. He has been in the bottom three two times already. The judges didn't think several of the solos were very good. I agree but what do I know about dance. The judges should have sent home Cedric and Shawna.

i bet jessie wasnt planngin to be in the bottom three-- she want in danger last week and her dance this week was applauded byt the jusgeds. based on what she wore and how her solo turned out, i bet she weasnt planngin o n dancing last ngiht! she woudl have done much better had she planned to dance. i'm glad faina is gone, btu i woudl have booted cedric. he is a fantastic dancer to watch, but i dont think he has the confidence needed to continue with the show.

The decision to keep Cedric will bite Nigel in the you know what next week. He is great at what he does, but he just isn't the kind to adapt to other styles. The one they let go was fantastic! His solo was technically amazing! I don't know why they wouldn't keep someone who really knew dance!

They said they kept Cedric because he was "unique". But all of you are right - he can only do his own style of dancing and he wasn't good with partnering and the more "traditional" dance styles. I don't think he will last beyond next week.

Which is a shame since the bad dancers tend to drag their partners down with them.

I had to turn the music off to enjoy the pasa doble. It drove me nuts, and then I turned on to see the judges speak and at least I didn't feel alone.

I was shocked by how well Dominic did this week.

They are all "good" dancers, but frankly, the women seem to be better than most of the men.

I was flabbergasted when they announced who they were letting go. Then I got mad. How could they let someone go that was as talented as he is in favor of "uniqueness"???

I saw the performance show on Wed. but missed Thursday. Any info on how Jessie is doing? (She was hospitalized with heart problems. Pasha had to dance with one of his teachers.) Who got voted off?

Cedric and Shawna were not in the bottom three!

It was Jessie
Danny & his partner
Lauren & Neil
Jesus & Sarah

Jessie was "better", but honestly, she was panting for breath after dancing with Pasha before she had to solo. Sending her home was probably best for her health, despite saying it was because she was dehydrated.

Jesus was very gracious about leaving, and honestly, was the worst of the three solos. Neil and Danny were both "outstanding" in the words of the judges. I'd say they were amazing while Jesus was just great.

Any explanation of what was wrong with Jessie?

Supposedly, it was just dehydration that affected her heart and breathing.

She claimed she was just dehydrated from all the practicing but that doesn't really explain the abnormal EKG. I'm guessing they sent her home because of the health problems.

If it was based on the dancing Lauren should have gone.

So, then are Sara and Pasha a couple? THAT could be a dynamic combination.

Did anyone watch last night? Who do you think will be in the bottom 3? I would guess Cedric/Shawna, Pasha/Sara, and Hok/?.

That would be my guess too. I loved Dominic and Sabre with the hip hop and Lauren and Neil with the jazz routine. Benji's sister and her partner were good as usual. The jazz choregrapher always comes up with the coolest things!!!

I didn't think the hip/hop routine was that good last night. It's getting more and more difficult to choose a bottom three. I want some of what the judge Mary Murphy is on!

I don't see Pasha/Sara in the bottom 3. I thought they were the second best couple of the night, AND they will have the Benji voting block in their corner...

I absolutely LOVED Dominic and Sabra, Sara and Pasha, and Lacey and Kameron as my top 3.

For me, the bottom 3 were Cedric/Shawna, Hok/Jamie (who I normally love), and Lauren/Neil.
