Can a GFE now be used in place of this? If so, do you know when this changed?

The footnote to Reg. Z 226.19(c)states that "Good faith estimates of settlement costs provided for transactions subject to RESPA may be substitubed for the disclosures required by paragraph (c) of this section." Therefore, IF your transaction is also subject to RESPA, AND you provide a GFE, the Itemization of Amount Financed is not necessary. I know this provision has been here for many, many years.
