Heh, I just got back from Transformers.
That movie SO rocked!!!
I can't wait for my hubby to see it so we can discuss.

Bumblebee was so cool, (even though I don't care for American cars, hehe)

I think it'll be my favorite movie of the summer, HP might let me down, but I'll still see the first showing.

Did Hugo Weaving rock as Megatron?

I like the fact that Optimus is the same voice actor as the cartoon...

Not sure about Agent Smith as Megatron though...

Have any of you heard the rant about the Transformers included in Clerks 2?

Can't wait to see the new Camaro. I may actually go to the dealer and get on the waiting list for the convertible...

I just have too much to do over the next few days, so the movie has to wait. I actually heard about the Kwick-E-Mart on the radio this morning, it's not too far from my house so I'll have to check it out.

I was a big fan of Transformers as a kid, I remember going to see the cartoon movie that came out in the 80's. Did anyone here see that one in the theaters?

Not yet- but I'd like to soon. I was always fascinated by the toys as a kid, and from the previews I've seen, the movie seems to be well made.

really? i heard that it was far too long. and it was said to be far too long because of the "the teenagers have the power" aspect of the plot which made it so. i heard that the special effects are amazing though.

I've heard nothing but raving reviews about it from friends. though we are all in the "target audience". I'm really thinking about seeing this week, which is unusual as I never go to the theater.

Usually i like extremely, absurdly long movies as long as they are entertaining enough (the story line doesn't always have to be that great, however it can be a factor too..)

Best.Movie.Evar.

It was worth all I had to go through to see it tuesday night.

Our show started at 6:45. About 8:00 someone pulls the fire alarm. We get rainchecks, decide to stay in town and wait to see if they reopen to show the movies over. We get a 11:00 pm showtime. Get out at 1:30, get home at 2:00 am.

But it was so worth it. Seeing Optimus, Jazz, Ironhide, Bumblebee and Ratchet on the big screen like that was so worth it.

Critics suck.. I love many movies that critics say are horrible.. Bad critic, no cookie..

This movie was amazing! It was about 2 hours long but it was so entertaining I couldn't tell. The cgi was incredible and I laughed throughout because of Shia LeBouf's humor, he was a good character. My wife was laughing at me because everytime she turned to look at me I had my mouth open =) If you can watch it at an IMAX, do it!

Max...
Did you hear they planned a sequel before this movie even opened?
Michael Bay is talking about adding Constructicons, Soundwave/Shockwave (I forgot the name), and....the DINOBOTS!

Of course, I am hoping for Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime voiced by Judd Nelson again...
