Helter Skelter
When I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide Where I stop and I turn and then I go for a ride 'Til I get to the bottom and I see you again
Do you, don't you want me to love you I'm coming down fast, but I'm miles above you Tell me, tell me tell me, c'mon tell me the answer Well you may be a lover but you ain't no dancer.
Now Helter Skelter, Helter Skelter, Helter Skelter, ...
Will you, won't you want me to make you I'm coming down fast, but don't let me break you Tell me, tell me, tell me the answer You may be a lover but you ain't no dancer.
Look out! Helter Skelter, Helter Skelter, Helter Skelter, oooh... Look out, 'cause here she come ...
When I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide And I stop and I turn and then I go for a ride And I get to the bottom and I see you again,
Well do you, don't you want me to make you I'm coming down fast, but don't let me break you Tell me, tell me, tell me your answer You may be a lover but you ain't no dancer
Look out! helther skelter, helther skelter, helther skelter
Look out! Helter Skelter ... she coming down fast yes she is yes she is coming down fast oh now helter skelter ...

Charles Manson told his followers that White Album songs including "Helter Skelter" were the Beatles' coded prophecy of an apocalyptic war in which racist and non-racist whites would be maneuvered into virtually exterminating each other over treatment of blacks. But Chuck was insane and dead wrong. It's too bad this great song became associated with Manson. Some people (myself included) consider Helter Skelter to be the very first punk rock song.

introduction of mind altering drugs into the song writing habits of musicians - PR, you're either making a joke, or you don't know too much about music history. The '60s were *not* the first time musicians used recreational drugs when writing songs. Drugs were used regularly by musicians in the swing era, the ragtime era, and even earlier. Rock music gets a bad rap because of the propoganda campaigns of the '60s "establishment" that came down so hard on the hippies and the anti-war counterculture of the time.

Did you know it was a "folk" musician (Bob Dylan) who introduced some certain "rock" musicians (The Beatles) to drugs?

Nice little pay day for her.... Just a guess, but I think you mean Heather, not Linda. Linda, his first wife, has been deceased for a number of years.
