I also love this show. I record them and watch next evening when nothing else is on. I saw a review the other day that panned the lead actor Jeffrey Donovan. I like the way he plays the part.

Did you see Hitch? Jeffrey Donovan was the jerk that wanted to hire Hitch and Hitch refused him.

the premise of the show is that he was a US spy, who was kicked out of the agency, they froze all his bank accounts, so now he lives in miami sponging off friends and making a living as a private eye/problem fixer, while trying to avoind the FBI, which follows him everywhere. Sort of a young guy version of the old CBS show "The Equalizer."
not very well written, cinemaphotography is often shaky (on purpose) which gives me a headache, and it is unusually predictable. Not one of USA's better produced shows.

Although I think that Burn Notice is pretty good and getting better, it's still not as good as Jeffrey Donovan's last TV show, 'Touching Evil'.
Anyone watch that? It only lasted one season (I think is might have been on FX), and then was cancelled. Vera Farmiga was in it, too (from The Departed).

Touching Evil was great. Seeing that Donovan was in Burn Notice is why I started watching it.

Way, way south.

I like it. So far, it's OK as far as acting and such, but I like the premise and I am hoping it comes into it's own and improves.
