In a loan file review, I found a rescission notice that the customer signed (not the "I wish to rescind" section, just the receipt section), but the customer did not date it. Am I being overly picky, or is this a technical exception?

The only exception would be if your policy/procedures require them to sign and date it. There is no regulatory requirement for it to be signed or dated by anyone.
