Omigosh, is it Farday already? I'm glad the sun is shining by you, we are having a cool schnizzle. I get to go to our branch office later and be a cow. We have a cow mascot for our bank, and I get to wear the costume today. Oh boy, er, I mean, Moo!

Nice to see the sun and not have the beep beep beep on the radio. Long week here in Kansas. I have had enough tornados around for a life time.

As a Cubs and Astros fan, I am in heaven right now. My only problem is that usually they are not both vying for 1st in the same year. Typically, when they meet head-to-head, I root for whoever is having the better year and has the better chance to get to the post-season. Its tough, real tough. I can think of several reasons to root for each.

It's good to see the Cubs were not swept by the Brewers. I would not be able to stand my boss for a few months. The crowing would never stop.

I am going to the Cubs Brewers game at Miller on Wednesday. Tip a few with my neighbor and watch a ball game. The only problem is work the next day!!!

What is it with the Brew Crew - they bring out the worst in the Cubs. They sued to bring out the worst in the Sox, too, when they were in the A.L. - I remember the feuding over the Sox winning "ugly" - but of course as a Sox hater, I loved the Brewers then. Have fun Wednesday - asssuming no rainouts, you will get to see the kid that will stymie the redbirds today, starting in 12 minutes!

I hope the redbirds don't get stymied today.
That's happened enough this week.

I had to get down to Billy Joel (the lead dog in Oliver & Company) before I got a Bacon score of 3...

This is a good site!

My name is the same as a somewhat famous actress so when I plugged in my name, I got my own personal Bacon score of 2!

My man is a die hard Cardinals fan and is down at Wrigley right now. He called me 40 minutes before the game and he WAS already completely in another world!

Miller Park! Nice to see that there is someone up in this part of the world. I get really nice tickets through work (5 rows behind 3rd base plus access to the 300 club), which makes a night or day at Miller so enjoyable!

Got this email, thought I would pass it along . . .

Subject: FW: Your day is coming!

AAADD

I find comfort in knowing that I am not alone....

Recently, I was diagnosed with A.A.A.D.D. - Age Activated Attention Deficit
Disorder. This is how it manifests:

I decide to wash my car. As I start toward the garage, I notice that there
is mail on the hall table. I decide to go through the mail before I wash the
car. I lay my car keys down on the table, put the junk mail in the trash can
under the table, and notice that the trash can is full. So, I decide to put
the bills back on the table and take out the trash first. But then I think,
since I am going to be near the mailbox when I take out the trash anyway, I
may as well pay the bills first.

I take my checkbook off the table, and see that there is only one check left
My extra checks are in my desk in the study, so I go to my desk where I
find the can of Coke that I had been drinking. I am going to look for my
checks, but first I need to push the Coke aside so that I do not
accidentally knock it over. I see that the Coke is getting warm, and I
decide I should put it in the refrigerator to keep it cold.

As I head toward the kitchen with the coke a vase of flowers on the counter
catches my eye, they need to be watered. I set the Coke down on the counter,
and I discover my reading glasses that I have been searching for all morning
I decide I better put them back on my desk, but first I am going to water
the flowers. I set the glasses back down on the counter, fill a container
with water and suddenly I spot the TV remote. Someone left it on the kitchen
table. I realize that tonight when we go to watch TV, we will be looking for
the remote, but nobody will remember that its on the kitchen table, so I
decide to put it back in the den where it belongs, but first Ill water the
flowers. I splash some water on the flowers, but most of it spills on the
floor. So, I set the remote back down on the table, get some towels and wipe
up the spill. Then I head down the hall trying to remember what I was
planning to do.

At the end of the day: the car is not washed, the bills are not paid, there
is a warm can of Coke sitting on the counter, the flowers are not watered,
there is still only one check in my checkbook, I cant find the remote, I
cant find my glasses, and I do not remember what I did with the car keys.
Then when I try to figure out why nothing got done today, I am really
baffled because I know I was busy all day long, and I am really tired. I
realize this is a serious problem, and Ill try to get some help for it, but
first Ill check my e-mail.

Do me a favor, will you? Forward this message to everyone you know, because
I do not remember to whom it has been sent. If this does not apply to you,
do not laugh your day is coming!

Well, barring extra innings, your man is going to be out of Wrigley too quickly to get too "Cubbed" up - the game is flying - 8th inning already at the 1 1/2 hour mark. 5-3 Cards - c'mon bats!

Does anyone know of that website that was something like sitcom star or dictator- where you thought of someone, answered questions and then it told you who you were thinking of? I would get on the site at my old job but then they blocked it...
