How precious Becca! I saw the picture earlier when I checked your site and thought how thankful you have to be to see her get on the bus after all you have been through. Your family has been an inspiration to many - that no matter what life throws at you, don't lose faith. We have enjoyed watching Natalie grow up and look forward to many more posts and pictures to come!

I finally got to see this famous picture - had to wait until I got home. What a gorgeous child! and she's perfectly accessorized, too, with a bracelet that matches the little buttons on her skirt. Little fashionista, lol.

And you must know, the bracelet is her medic alert bracelet. I just made it pretty

MOPNB - The picture is darling. How was the first day of school?

3 years ago today I was waiting...on the 9th of February 2005 I was scheduled to give my daughter part of my liver. You all were there for me then.

Just look at all the pages in this post! What an amazing group of people you all are. From the cards and letters and gifts that you sent in the hospital, to the website (PL - love your hubby), the donations and care-packages, the cookbook help, gosh I really don't think that we could have made it through without the help, love and support of all of you at BOL.

I know that I don't come here as often as I once did. The "normal" life that I prayed for is here, Praise God, and with it came new tasks and roles at work. Praise God.

Anyway, Thursday, Natalie and family will travel to Chicago (after we get our expected 12+ inches of snow) for her 3rd Transplant Anniversary appointment. She is doing AWESOME! Still relisted for a new liver, but awesome, still. Life is great.

OMG I cant believe it's been that long. She's grown so much! Be save of you trip to Chicago!

I went to the website today to check the date because I knew her anniversary was coming up soon. I thought I'd post a 'happy birthday liver' thread on Friday. I'm so glad you beat me to it because it's great to hear from you and know our Bear is doing so well. Really miss hearing from you but I thank God it's because your life is more 'normal' now. Can't think of any family that deserves it more! ((hugs)) to all the Bears and continued prayers.

Can you believe that three years later, our only complaint would be that she's keeping you too busy with doing gymnastics, ballet, soccer, and generally being a normal, active child for you to visit us here and update us on little Natalie's life?!

Congrats and keep posting pictures of her on the website until she gets paid for being a model, because she's one cute little girl!

PS: I still love my cookbook. So many good recipes!
