I'm going to fit in 3 long bike rides, 3 long walks, scrub all the hardwood floors in the house, paint the mailbox, paint the flagpole, power wash the deck, yard furniture, and siding and then have a family BBQ on Monday. Whew! I'll have to come back to work Tuesday morning just to rest up.

Oh, and I have to work late tonight and a normal day tomorrow, sigh.

Hehe. Sleep is for wimps! Bring on the power washer! It's one of my favorite jobs! And the mailbox and flagpole just look SAD so they need it.

Our bank has a booth at the local fair on Saturday only and I do have to work there tomorrow for three hours. But at least the bank is paying the admission price and then when I am done working I can go and eat until I'm sick. Hot sausage, french fries, apple dumplings here I come.

Yes, it's an ongoing project, but well worth the effort.

Did everyone get everything done that they expected over the week-end? We had grandchildren for 2 of the three days so I am exhausted. We spent almost two whole days at the local county fair.

Pulling people out of the ditc...
did nothing saturday, sunday had the family over for BBQ Shrimp for the adults, burgers for the kids, yesterady, played tourist and went here step back in time. Having lived in my adopted state since 1979, figured it was time to go see some of the history I've never seen. It was definitely a step back in time...

Sunday I was the proud mother while sitting in church and listening to my son (20 years old) preach. Although he has delivered 3 sermons (written the last two), this is the first one I have had the opportunity to attend. Sitting there -listening and watching, I realized that this is exactly what he was meant to do with his life. After he graduates college in 2009, he plans on attending seminary.

My and the GF went out to Sanibel and Captiva Islands for some beach time on Sunday and then swam in my pool on Monday. Great weekend!
