Footnote 15 of 226.7(d) indicates that if the loan is variable rate, you must disclose on the billing statment the fact that the periodic rate(s) may vary. Is this an actual statement or if your statement shows the daily periodic rate and you can see that it may vary, does this suffice, or do we need the wording also?

You need the wording also.

Is there any specific requirement on whether the daily periodic rate must be calculated to more than three decimal places? Our periodic statement shows it out 7 places (daily periodic rate of 0.0123456 percent). I'm not finding anything in Reg Z under 226.7, 226.14, 226.14 or the Appendix that appears to indicate this one way or the other. Is there a rule on this? Thank you.

Bump. Would this be more of a processor requirement vs. Reg Z?

From the Commentary to 226.14;

Periodic rates. No explicit tolerance exists for any periodic rate as such; a disclosed periodic rate may vary from precise accuracy (for example, due to rounding) only to the extent that its annualized equivalent is within the tolerance permitted by ยง226.14(a). Further, a periodic rate need not be calculated to any particular number of decimal places.
