I've seen this before and I'm pulling my hair out trying to find it again. Is there a required time frame to get a HMDA loan onto the LAR. Is the LAR supposed to be updated at least quarterly? ARGH!!

Yes, quarterly. Loans should be on the LAR within 30 days of the end of the quarter.

Page 7 of the HMDA GIR.

Is there a required audit (internally prepared) for HMDA on a quarterly basis. Without some type of audit in place it would be hard to know if a reportable loan made it onto the LAR int he required time frame.

That is usually part of a compliance monitoring program, self-testing, etc.
