Recently read Edna Buccannan's series starting with the one she wrote in 2001. I love murder mysteries. Have read all the Patterson Women's Murder Club books, anxious for the next.

I'm about 1/2 way through Invisible Prey by John Sanford- so far, so good. After this one I'll read The Burnt House by Faye Kellerman. I just love a good murder!!

I just finished reading the last book (#13) in the Stephanie Plum series last night. Now I have to wait until June for #14. I have a few Lorna Landvik books that I think I will start on next.

I love the Women's Murder Club series by Patterson. They're making it a television series. Want to see how that measures up to the books.
I'm still on my history/biography reading binge. Just finished "Infidel" by Ayaan Hirsi Ali. Ms. Ali was raised in Somalia but lived in Ethopia, Kenya, and Saudi Arabia as well while growing up. She suffered a great deal - including female mutilation as a 5 year old little girl. She escaped to Holland on her way to her arranged marriage husband in Canada and created a new life for herself. It is an excellent read - thought difficult in places. I strongly recommend it.

I watched the first show last week. They have made some changes. They have a blond as the prosecuter and I think she is Asian in the book. They had an Asian as the reporter and she was killed and now they are going to have another younger chick as the reporter. They also have the main character's ex husband as her boss and I don't think that is in the books either.
Other than that it wasn't too bad.

I started reading Twilight over the weekend and just finished it last night. I can't believe how involved I am with this book. I can't wait to start on the second one "New Moon".

Yeah, my friends and I have decided we probably need to seek professional help. So far we're settling for spreading the addiction as far as possible. So.....would YOU like to join our "we're-over-30-and-madly-in-love-with-a-teenage-vampire" fanclub?

Currently reading Sleepyhead by Mark Billgham. It came highly recommended, but I'm only about 50 pages in...

I've taken a break from history/biography and am reading "Eldest" by Christopher Paolini. Does anyone know if he's written the 3rd book to this series? I couldn't find it a Books-a-million.
