I wasn't going to start watching this reality show on top of the new American Idol for kids, Fame and Amazing Race but I had to see what it was about. I liked it! I think the guy (for being a lawyer) does not have a great vocabulary but he is cute!! What did you guys think, anyone else watch it???

Nah, Z has a terrific vocabulary. Of course, it could have been him and he was just trying to throw us perceptive BOL types off the trail by toning down his vocabulary.

I couldn't make myself watch it. I just can't help but feel sorry for the poor guy. It's bad enough that so many times people are taken advantage of and hurt in relationships, but to have that done in front of the millions of television viewers just seems inhumane. I just hope that, in the end, the guy doesn't get hurt too bad.

He went on TV to find "true love" for goodness sake. I hope it won't end up postal, but any more expectations are probably pushing it.

Where the heart is
IMHO - anyone who goes on one of these shows is doing it because they want to be on T.V., perhaps use it as a stepping stone to a modeling, acting, or other entertainment career. Heck - I bet they'd be glad to get cast in roles for commercials! Or even just to say at a party sometime..."Yeah.... I was on a Prime time television show. Want to come up and view reruns with me sometime?"

However, I really don't think anyone goes on T.V. to find "true love" any more than I believe the stories people tell on the Jerry Springer show. It's simply entertainment. Take it at face value.

I think it will be interesting to see if the women he picks will take the money or take him. I thought it was a good twist to not let him know they could have the chance to win the million and also not let the women know they will have a chance to choose between him or the money!

A radio talk show host in Austin, Jeff Ward, described the women on For Love or Money as strippers. His co-cost said something like, "Now Jeff we don't know that." Jeff said, "OK, 'actresses'"--meaning that they call themselves actresses, but really are strippers. Or maybe he just means that they are no better than strippers--selling their dignity for money.

All over the map.
I have to admit that I started this one, after saying I wouldn't watch it. My 13 year old daughter and I took bets on who would stay and she was pretty much dead on. I don't know if I'll let her watch all the episodes, some of the clips look a little steamy, but for now, it's a good lesson on how not to act! On a different note, Dog Eat Dog is the show I like. It's Fear Factor without the disgusting food and drink. I love to see the physical challenges.
