Can you have a note dated on a Federal Holiday?

I have a lender meeting a client on Monday (Veteran's Day), even though we're closed, for the signing of a commercial loan document.

Are there any problems with this, or things we need to do differently?

The beatings will continue until morale improves...

Yes, unless your state has a law that voids contracts that are executed on federal holidays. You must recognize, however, that there's a risk of intervening liens on your collateral (if any) since you can't record the security instruments as soon as they are signed.
