We just had a customer come in to cash a check and informed our teller that the cash was for Christmas gifts. The teller asked what denominations she would like. After a puzzled look, the customer replied "Baptist."

Glad it wasn't me. I know I would have laughed in the customer's face before I could stop myself.

Poor customer - it's a Friday, in December, they are most likely in a hurry and frazzled, with a million other things on their mind, and the teller asks them a question that they are most likely a million miles away in thought.

After the thread yesterday about the blonde joke, I most likely would have burst out laughing also
