Mornings like this I'm glad I no longer work outdoors. My hubby, however, has already called twice to whine about it.

The size of his bonus depends on getting the building finished on time if not ahead of schedule. He works until the weather is too bad to function in even if the subs don't show up.

Way, way south.

OK, when it's 32 here, deep in SWFL, with a wind chill in the 20's, something is definitely screwed up.

Don't worry, Bagweaver - its supposed to be back in the 70's by Sunday/Monday. No wonder we're all sick - 40/19 degrees for a few days then 70/40.

I had to break ice in the horse's buckets this am...grrrrr! But if it kills some skeeters...I won't complain too much...Even tho I left some water dripping, it seems I still had some frozen faucet handles and some major ice sickles.

It was 14 here in SWMO this morning. Our high yesterday was only in the mid 20's. But it's supposed to be 60 on Sunday, with a chance of severe storms on Monday.
You've gotta love MO weather!

It is a bit chilly here in MI, eh Don? I actually had to wear my coat AND gloves this morning, and my car took forever to thaw before I could drive.

I didn't wear a coat or gloves this morning (or usually). By the time I walk ten feet from my back door to my car and have the car warm in less than 5 minutes, it's not worth the bulk of trying to drive with the coat on. It sure does freak some people out though. I do keep a jacket and a blanket in the car just in case!

I just checked Yahoo, and it says it's 53 here in Phx! I am knocking knees it's so cold. But we're expecting a high of 72, so that's not too bad.

BB - I'll be in your area toward the end of the month. I'll fly in to Phoenix and then drive up to Casa Grande. Hope the weather holds as it is until I leave on Feb 5.

Bagweaver, it should be pretty good weather then. Too bad I didn't know earlier--we're going to a Mardi Gras murder mystery party on Groundhog's Day. I would have invited you to participate.
Anyway, CG has a nice outlet mall but I don't know what else to do there. Good luck and have a safe trip!

I the car warm in less than 5 minutes You can be proud you don't drive a diesel...it takes mine almost all the way to work before it's warm enough to feel any heat. I had a suit, coat and gloves on this am! I am proud tho that I don't have to plug this diesel in OR wait to start it...that is VERY nice!

It was 11 degrees with a windchill of -2 yesterday morning where my family lives in Southern Indiana. My brother's furnace went out on New Year's Eve and they didn't get it replaced until last night. He has two small daughters (4 and 1). They used electric space heaters and their living room was 64 degrees. With the new furnace it's now all toasty.
