USC is #1, despite the impending loss of their starting QB (remember, their back-up lost to Stanford this year), and Oklahoma was picked ahead of West Virginia, despite WVU stomping OU on the field last week, and WVU returning most of their skill players.

Reputation, or ESPN hyped-reputation always rules in college football.

Stanford was the team that had to play with their back up QB and he won. John David Booty actually lost to Stanford.

UGA's president Michael Adams has proposed an 8-team playoff that would replace the current BCS format. I hope this happens because it seems that a lot of deserving teams are being left out of the Championship. A lot of "experts" have said it should have been USC & GA in the title game. I say shut-up, it's over.
