well, in 4 years, with a little luck, that will be the first year that a playoff system will be in place...but, then when they whip everyone, what will you complain about? that the playoff system is unfair?

And if your Aunt had b---s, she'd be your uncle. Ohio State got dominated, again. Could there be any bigger argument against the BCS than Ohio State ending-up in the title game again next year?
Perfect example of what's wrong with college football: The USA Today put-out a top-ten for next year. USC is #1, despite the impending loss of their starting QB (remember, their back-up lost to Stanford this year), and Oklahoma was picked ahead of West Virginia, despite WVU stomping OU on the field last week, and WVU returning most of their skill players.
Reputation, or ESPN hyped-reputation always rules in college football.

USC is #1, despite the impending loss of their starting QB (remember, their back-up lost to Stanford this year) Stanford was the team that had to play with their back up QB and he won. John David Booty actually lost to Stanford.

OU should be real good next season. Bradford will have a season under his belt and they are not losing alot of talent this year.

New BCS rule... In the case of a National Championship game where one of the opponents is from the Big Ten, the trophy will be given to the opponent by default, thereby saving on electricity and security costs. Then how do you explain Ohio State's defeat of the vaunted Miami Hurricanes in the 2003 title game??

But Swimware's post implied that no team from the Big Ten has any business being in the title game, no matter the conference affiliation of the other team.

You guys should be OK so long as you don't play App State. one of 3 wins in 12 attempts for big ten in bcs bowls. a little tongue in cheek, of course.
