Wow, Tigerlze sure does have alot of free time to go and investigate how many posts I have had, and what they were all about!!
Hmmm... 26 posts (at the time)... not much to investigate...I actually only clicked on 2 (maybe three posts fyi). I guess you thought you were saying something important because you included !! at the end of that sentence... gooooood job.
What was I wearing when I posted my 10th one? Oh, and the post about Jimmy Buffett and his concerts, come on, that was obviously a joke!! Sounds like you really dug deep to come up with a response.
Didn't have to dig... sounded kind of sappy actually.
Let's not make my opinion to be more than it was, an opinion. I am simply stating that I think it is ridiculous that someone would say they "almost cried" when the heard the news. Yet that someone never said they "almost cried" when they heard of a deatch in our military.
And I'm entitled to my opinion... correct? Mine is that you have a horrible opinion since you felt the need to talk bad about someone who was just expressing their feelings. Do you know that person? Do you know what they have been through? hmmm
I also said it was ridiculous that this would be the top news story, almost 20 minutes worth, on CNN. With all the other more important things going on.
Can't really argue much with that... news is news.
Heck, I am a big Redskins Fan. If you remember, Sean Taylor was shot and killed earlier this year. That was two months ago. yet, last week, I was at a gas station and saw a car pull up with "in memory of #21, Sean Taylor RIP" written on the side of the car.... To me, that is UNREAL and that person needs help.
So I guess we should also get rid off every tribute song/show there ever was to anyone who "someone" thought did something great because every last one was OBVIOUSLY ridiculous. The second you die people should be informed but NO ONE!!! should ever talk about you again. No threads on BOL... no nothing. Imagine that...
We spend too much time feeling bad and sorry for certain people, just b/c they are "famous"..... I guess it is even more sad that none of you agree...
In some cases I have to agree (gasp). When a famous person's death is the highlight of the news for months (not saying any names) then it does become a bit old and the media is milking it way too much. Heath Ledger has been dead for a little more than 24 hours and you are complaining already... (sigh)
Tigerlze, feel free to archive this one as well since you are so bored..
