A truth in savings discolsure states "no interest will be paid on accounts with accrued interest of $1.00 or less." Is this allowabe? And if so would this be considered a fee or penalty?

No fee and not a penalty. If it is disclosed in the TIS disclosures that $1.00 is the minimum to earn interest, it is allowable.

You're right. I never have seen a TIS disclosure with that specific language. That does not conform to Reg DD disclosure rules. Good catch,bbsgrant.
