During the slow start to the Superbowl, I flipped through some channels. The Science Channel had a bit on how bacon is made.
They use pork bellies and trim the fat from them. They then use this fat to make pork rinds. It's almost like nothing goes to waste.
If this isn't the perfect food, then I don't know what is.

Yes, Mr. Peepers. Bacon is the perfect food item. It's the candy of the meat world. Even my anorexic friends brake for bacon. Without bacon, there is no meaning in life. Vegans desire bacon, and it's one of the most comforting smells, reminds nearly everyone of lovely family breakfasts, and is the undisputed king of meats. Make bacon part of your daily eating routine, and you'll truly understand happiness.

It's recycled into campaign rhetoric.

The only thing not used on a pig is the squeek - all other parts are processed into some other useable form. I admit that after seeing this special I have a new found respect for the pig. Although, why anyone would want to buy pigs feet is beyond me when their fat provides plenty of delicious treats. And I didn't see any poop in this episode. That's not to say there wasn't any poop, just that they didn't make it apparent. Even if they did, I would still eat pig.

That must explain why radical islamists blow themselves up so frequently... So are you suggesting that we could better control terrorism by providing them microwavable bacon? But then would we have to also supply them with microwaves?
