Currently we have everything under one umbrella in our Deposit Operations department including: ACH,ATM,Collections,Return Items,and more. Wondered if anyone had any success as far as how you structure your Deposit OPS Department. Thanks.

I don't know the size of your institution, but our Operations Area is split up into several departments. We have a DDA Department that handles return items, collections, and check orders. We have an EFT Department that handles ATM issues, ACH, etc. We also have a Savings/IRA Department that takes care of interest checks, 1099's, file maintenance,and IRA paperwork. We have about 50 offices located throughout 4 states and this set up has worked well for us.
