TGIF. It is the last day of spring, tomorrow is summer. It is getting warm and sunny. It is a weekend. And a new episode of Monk is on tomorrow. Reality TV, harrumph, Monk, funny.

Absolutely Andy - Monk is one of the funniest and best written shows on TV - Tony Shaloub is so brilliant he was born for this role. However you may want to check your listings because I think the first showing of the new episode (USA I'm sure will air it several more times in the next week) is tonight at 9:00PM CDT

I'm super excited about today too!!!
Not only is today my 23rd birthday....but it also happens to be my last day working at this branch! On Monday I will be moving from Operations to Loans. I'm the bank's new Credit Analyst. I guess I will have to change my user name.....

Well, Andy, I've never seen Monk, but maybe I'll have to watch it tomorrow. As for warm and sunny, not here - and not anytime soon, from what they say. It's rainy and cold (again) - kind of like Seattle, only on the East Coast. Oh well... It makes it easier to have an excuse to stay inside and read a good book.

Welcome to the dark side Spec Ops! And happy Birthday!!!! I'm cleaning the house this weekend so the kitties have a nice place to stay and the cat sitter dosen't think I'm a pig while I'm in Boston all next week  I've been assured that the weather will be crappy, (their view not mine...I love rain and 60 degree weather) and the sun will go DOWN before 10 pm. The first night..I'm staying up to watch the sun go away...I MISS the dark!!!! (Hard to be a darksider in the land of 24 hour sunshine!)

You will be here at our daylight "zenith" Dawnie. After Saturday the daylight keeps getting shorter and shorter. The good news is, according to the long range weather forecast, you may actually be hitting the best stretch sunny weather we have had all year! One more day without the sun and I would have broken out in mildew!

Tonight we have our Relay for Life, and the weather looks perfect! Sunny and warm this PM, warm night, sunny and warm tommorrow. I have drawn the 3 to 4 AM time slot, so think of me jogging around the park in the dark as you are all snug in your beds. And a very Happy Birthday, Spec! Happy Summer Solstace!

Kudos to you, Nanwa...I've participated in Relay for Life a couple of times and it is awesome. I also had the middle of the night shift. We had campers and lounge chairs, beach music, lots of coffee and pancakes around 4:00 AM. I'm thinking of you now and also of my Aunt Frances who died of pancreatic cancer. Hope you raise lots of money!

Nancy - you are lucky but i am happy for you. We had our relay for Life a couple weeks ago and it was cold and rainy. But I at least had great weather for golf yesterday, and played a great course - 3 years old and already making most of the "best public" lists - called the Glen - they actually had the Nationwide Tour there a couple weeks ago (ya know, where the tour the PGA wannabes play on!) - very spoiled yesterday - even had a caddy (first time ever - don't think I can ever play without one again ) - Hope the Relay went well - it's a great event.
