No real info for this week, except Mary is the boot (from Fans.) She is busy making friends, not alliances, and waits too long to declare her intentions.

Boy, Mary was blind-sided, huh! Her friend (can't remember his name) didn't see it either.

I think there may be more back stabbing in the fans tribe than the faves tribe.

So do you all think Cirie got the hidden immunity idol?

They sure were finding the clues rather quickly. Was the last place to look the place where the idol was located? I wouldn't put it past her to have it and not let anyone know.

I'm betting that they continue to send two people to exile each time for a while too, and if a pair works together, they'll get it, otherwise, the same person will have to be sent multiple times, or Ozzy the fish would have to go!

Another week with virtually NO information, but probable boot candidates are Mike (lover boy) or Kathy (tall, exiled last week) from Fans or Yau from Faves. Kathy apparently goes whack job at some point and is 'removed' from the game.

Did any of the favorites watch the season that Cirie was on? Didn't they see that she was lazy and didn't do anything and basically road coattails to get as far as she did? Can't they see that she is doing it again?

It seems to me that if there are two alliances and the swing vote starts making demands, then it is time to get rid of the swing vote. Since the love birds have the numbers now for the favorites they should try and convince the other group to get rid of Cirie and send her packin.

I was surprised at Cirie's attitude, "they should be cooking for me and washing my clothes"

I can't believe she got them to get rid of yau man, I love him!!!!

KMS, it didn't surprise me to much, the only difference is that she is a little more vocal. She is not a leader, she is not good at challenges, the only thing that saved her during her season and this, is that she appears to be an outsider that really doesn't fit in with either group. However, both groups need her and she loves the power. I do think that it will come back and bite her.

Some for this week:

Looks like Ozzy finds the Idol this week and carves a fake out of wood to replace the real one.

The RC is a huge underwater cage they have to push coconuts through.

The IC is called Crosswalk.

Will update more tomorrow.

Do those voted off actually get to go home? Wouldn't that risk the secrecy of the outcome? If Fairplay shows up back at home with his girlfriend after a few days away, everyone obviously knows he didn't win. Certainly later in the game, those on the jury don't go home because they are back for tribal council each week.

If Fairplay couldn't really go home, why did he essentially quit?

I think those that go home before the Jury are allowed to go home, aren't they?

I always thought that they are all sequestered for the entire length of the show.

I thought that was just the jury, but I could be wrong. If you're right, Fairplay was just a baby.

From what I have read, the contestants are not sent home after they've been eliminated. Entertainment Weekly did a piece on that very subject after Fairplay was voted off (quit), and it mentioned that (in general), tribe members do not go home after they've been voted off. They are debriefed, and are sequestered.

Fairplay made it sound as if he may have left anyway, but I think that was just for entertainment value.

Perhaps Empress EGB could shed some light on this...

Maybe he knew that he wouldn't be going home and wanted better accomodations for the duration of his stay.

Reward Challenge and Immunity Challenge to the Faves. Kathy and Ozzy exiled (Ozzy finds hidden idol.) Boot - Mikey B.

Contestants do not go straight home. They are generally kept in 2 or 3 groups in separate locations (generically referred to as Loser Lodge.) A lot of time you can spoil who goes home early by who seems to be really good friends after the show (they get lots of bonding done in LL.)

I can't believe how stupid the fans are being sending home strong players instead of weak too soon.

I think the tribes get remixed this week. It wil be interesting so see how the Faves strategy of voting out strong players plays out. And will the two showmances get split up?
